FLYATHLETE #26: Dick Clark

Name my parents gave me: Dick Clark (What were they thinking, or drinking)
Age: 63 – Cool age cause you are illegible for the National Park Golden Eagle Pass
Birthday: January 1953 in the grand State of New Jersey, Good state to be from.
Favorite Fish: Native
Favorite Beer: Mama’s Little Yella PILS, Oskar Blues

Bio:  At the age of 10, I was fly fishing the Blue Ribbon Battenkill River on the border of NY and Vermont. My first fly shop was Orvis in Manchester, VT, when all the rods were made with bamboo smuggled in from China illegally and was just a small building and a casting pond. I have just retired from EPA in Denver with most of my career trying to educate the masses of the need to protect and preserver wetlands, stream and lakes. Some success, but a lot of disappointments. Future plans are to cycle the Continental Divide mountain bike trail, fly fishing with bike support. Anyone care to join me leaving mid July.🎣🚴🏼
