Details:  This is the 3rd Annual Lake Fork Flyathlon.  As many of you have experienced over the years, the weather at this time of year is unpredictable, the fishing is somewhat challenging, and the after-party is bad ass.  Looking forward to seeing our die hard flyathletes at this event!

Because this race is a fundraising race, this year we have decided to have a required fundraising minimum of $150.  Money raised will go towards on-the-ground projects with a native trout focus.  If you want to participate and this amount of fundraising is prohibitive, please send me an email with your rationale and we can try to work around it.

Details:  Yes, a trout fishing event in Iowa.  I was fortunate enough to be able to make it out to Iowa for 1st “Official” Driftless Area Flyathlon in 2017, and I have to say that this event was incredibly well organized by our Iowa Flyathlon crew.  Yellow River State Forest is beautiful, and the people who attend this event are wonderful.  If you are anywhere near Northeast Iowa, put this on your to do list ASAP.
